They say August is the month that we reap most benefit from our efforts in the garden from over the previous months. Flowers are blooming, crops are being harvested and the lawn’s growth rate is waning meaning less grass cutting to do = more time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labour.
Old Fashioned Sweet Pea Variety
No grass cutting required today so will devote my free time to picking these stems of beautifully perfumed sweet peas – the more you pick, the more they flower. The perfect reaping of benefits.
